Enkhjargal Ganbat (aka Eya, 1981) is a Mongolian contemporary artist and founder of the Nomad Wave Art Group. She graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Ulaanbaatar in 2005 with a painting degree. After bringing a beautiful little girl into this world, she recently returned to the art scene with new performance and installation art works.
Her most recent work ‘A lullaby for Mother Earth’ intends to recall people’s love for nature, as many in modern society are too separated from it. The performance has travelled Mongolia, asking regular citizens to join and spread the concept. In 2011 there will be several exhibitions in Ulaanbaatar and she hopes to bring the project to Europe.
